If you’re a fan of old-school, stripped-back Vegas steppers, Spinberry’s Top Multiplier is going to look incredibly familiar. It features a classic three-reel, single-line setup straight across the middle, filled with the traditional BARs, Sevens, Bells, and, of course, a whole lot of blanks.
Hovering above the reels is a board of ten cash bills displaying values up to 500x. That board is the focal point of the game, but before you chase it, there’s the math. At a 93.26% RTP, this game’s math model is undeniably tight, and during my session, the base game made me feel every single bit of it.
The Base Game Grind & The MVP Bells
Playing a single-line game is always a test of patience. There are no two-of-a-kind pays for standard symbols here. When things do line up, mixed BARs will get you your stake back plus a little extra (2.5x), climbing up through Single, Double, and Triple BARs to a 20x payout. Three Sevens will net you 50x.
Because of the blanks, the base game is incredibly quiet. During a short session of about 50 spins, I hit a long dry stretch of a dozen rounds without a single paying combo. The near-misses definitely sting, too, landing two Sevens with a BAR wedged in the middle is as loud as a losing spin gets.

However, the Bells are the absolute MVPs of this slot, serving three distinct purposes:
- The Consolation Prize: Landing a single Bell anywhere on the payline with no winning combo pays 1x your stake, except when the other two symbols are two different BARs. In my session it was the only thing the base game ever paid, and a 1x hit only hands the stake back.
- Wild Multipliers: One Bell completing a line multiplies the win by 3x. Two Bells multiply it by 9x. If you manage to land two Bells alongside a Seven, you’ll hit a 450x payout: the second-largest prize in the game.
- The big one: Three Bells straight across the line awards the 500x maximum win outright.

The Top Multiplier Bonus Feature
The game’s only bonus triggers when the “Top Multiplier” logo lands on the third reel. The reels dim, and your attention is directed to the bill board at the top of the screen. The game lights up a random set of bills, adds their values together, and presents you with a cash offer.
From here, it plays out a bit like Deal or No Deal. You can take the cash, or reject it to try for a new set of bills, up to a maximum of four offers.
The Twist: Spinberry has included a very unusual mechanic here. The game actually prints a “strategy guide” right on the screen (for example, advising you to take any first offer over 30x). If you don’t touch the controls for about 20 seconds, the game simply auto-presses the advised button for you.
When I finally triggered the feature at the end of my session, it lit up three bills that easily cleared the first-offer threshold. The on-screen advice told me to take it, I let the timer run out to see what would happen, and the game auto-collected the win, enough to leave my whole evening 37x ahead. It’s a decent feature, but having the game solve its own gamble kind of removes the suspense of the choice.

What you’re doing here is grinding through blanks and 1x consolation hits, hoping to catch a 9x wild multiplier or a trigger on the third reel.
