This studio’s earlier titles 3 Crown Coins and 3 Magic Chests run on 5×3 reels with a 3,000x top, so the name might set the wrong expectation. But be warned: this release strips the grid down to a tight 3×3 layout and pushes the max win cap to a respectable 5,000x your bet.
After putting this slot through its paces, I found a game that is mechanically clever but notoriously stubborn.
The Base Game: The “Middle Reel” Bottleneck
The frustrating part comes first. Because this is a 3×3 grid with just five paylines, there is absolutely no room for partial credit. Every single payout has to run through the middle reel, though the bonus trigger doesn’t: three bonus symbols anywhere on the board will do it.
During my sessions, I lost count of how many times I landed beautiful, full stacks of Dragon Wilds on reels 1 and 3, only for the middle reel to blank, leaving me with a zero-pay spin. With a hit frequency sitting at roughly 1 in 44 spins, the base game can be a very quiet, grindy stretch.
When you do connect, payouts are strictly top-up material. Low-paying royals give you 4x your bet, while minor premium combos like koi or turtle fetch 16x. The absolute top in the base game is a full screen of wilds, which pays 250x.
A quick note on the pots: You’ll notice three colored pots (Green, Red, Purple) sitting above the reels, gathering bonus symbols as you play. I have to dock a few points here for transparency: nothing in the rules explains what happens when a pot fills, and mine never did anything I could see. The way into the feature that the rules spell out is three bonus symbols on the board in a single spin.

The Lantern Grid Bonus: Clever Mechanics, Harsh Reality
If you manage to land the three bonus symbols, the reels swap out for a grid of lanterns, triggering a classic 3-respin Hold & Win feature. But there’s a twist.
The colors of your triggering symbols dictate your modifiers for the round. Standard coins just bring their cash value, but colored coins unlock the real potential. Furthermore, standard coins don’t pay out on their own. Everything flows through a “Royal” bonus symbol, a collector that locks onto the middle reel and absorbs the value of every coin that lands. (If you’ve played Break the Vegas Piggy, the positional requirement feels very similar).
Here is what the colored modifiers do:
- Purple (Expand): Adds a fourth row to the grid, giving you much-needed breathing room to land coins.
- Green (Twin): Splits your Royal collector in two. Both halves hold the running total, effectively doubling the value of every new coin you land.
- Red (Multi): Drops multiplier cells on the outer reels. If a second multiplier lands on the same cell, its value doubles (up to 32x).
While these features sound incredible on paper, they don’t guarantee a massive payday. The “Multi” mechanic, for example, only pays out if a coin eventually lands on that specific cell before your respins run out. It builds great tension, but frequently delivers nothing.
In one of my natural triggers, I got the Expand feature. Over a dozen respins, my Royal collector slowly absorbed 1x coins and I walked away with a measly 19x my bet. In another session, I managed the dream trigger, all three colored symbols at once. Even with an expanded grid, a split collector, and multipliers active, the coins simply refused to drop. I closed that “mega” round with just 14x.

Chasing the 5,000x Max Win
Because the base game is capped at 250x, the 5,000x maximum win lives entirely inside this bonus feature.
To get anywhere near it, you need a perfect storm. You’re looking for an expanded layout where the Multi cells double up early in the round. You then need coins to actually land on those elevated multipliers, and you absolutely need the Twin feature (or a second Royal symbol) to duplicate that whole collection. Throw one of the fixed jackpots into that doubled total, and that is the sequence this slot is built to deliver.
This slot is not for the faint of heart. The 3×3 layout makes the base game a long waiting game, and the collection pots never explain themselves. However, the mechanics inside the bonus round are genuinely innovative. The way the Multi and Twin features interact creates a high top end for players lucky enough to catch the right sequence.
