If you love slots steeped in Asian folklore and history, SimplePlay is a studio worth exploring. They dive deep into Chinese legends with games like Ji Gong, Ne Zha Blazing, and Pigsy – though you’ll spot a few Western themes in the mix too, like Zeus and Mother of Dragons.
Right now they’re in the middle of a massive glow-up. They’ve been going back through their older games, upgrading the art for full-screen play, and adding a ‘Buy Free Game’ feature.
Mother of Dragons shows how they build a slot: it switches between three different scenes, each with its own reel layout and its own wilds (playing at a 96.04% RTP and medium-to-high volatility).
Founded in 2019 and a partner of the Asian live casino company SA Gaming, they actually make multiplayer arcade fishing games, too. Their RNG games are BMM-certified.
